Happy 1st Birthday, Bookery!

May 18, 2019      Erica Robyn      14 Comments

A while back, you may remember me posting about my excitement when I stumbled across a new bookshop in our town.

Today, that shop celebrated it’s first birthday!

Inside, the shop was decorated with balloons and paper chains. I was so excited to see how many people were there to join in with the celebrations!

Of course, I also had to snap a few pics of some of my favorite things in the shop right now. That included this fun project:

And the signage on their doors:

Outside, there were games for all ages!

I wish we could have hung around all day for the festivities, but we had a packed schedule. But I’m so happy we were able to pop by for a bit!

Happy 1st Birthday to the Bookery!

Wishing you all many more successful years in this community! Thank you for all that you do!

It’s such an adorable bookshop. I wish there was an independent bookshop where I live.

    Happy readings! 😉

We really don’t have smaller bookshops like this. They just can’t survive in the expensive buildings here in The Netherlands and are definitely pushed out by the bigger stores.

I’d love to open a bookshop, but I think it wouldn’t even make the year…
So glad to see a bookshop on your blog!

That’s such a bummer 🙁 It was the same way near my hometown though so I totally get it. I would have to drive quite a ways to get to a decent shop.

I didn’t realize this place existed! I’ll have to take a little trip one of these weekends. It looks fantastic.
