We Bought A House!

August 17, 2019      Erica Robyn      34 Comments

Hey all! Just wanted to post this quickly to let you all know why I’ve gone a bit dark.

As the title says, Alex and I bought a house!

We’re SO excited! We spent a few hours there yesterday just poking around.

Next up, a couple of my coworkers and I are headed over to give it a deep clean. (Not that it really needs much! The previous owners left it in great condition!) Then we’ll be doing a few small projects like filling in nail holes, touching up the paint, and other such things.

Then we’re going to start moving in! Which we’re planning to do slowly, just taking a carload or two over after work each day since our weekends are already full.

Part of me still just can’t believe it. This process was so easy and it went pretty quickly! We were helped by some amazing people. So New Hampshire friends, if you’re looking to buy or sell, let me know! I’d love to put you in touch with the wonderful people we worked with!

I’ll be back soon! I have two book reviews I’m hoping to type up today ๐Ÿ˜€

Hope you’re all having a great August! <3

Absolutely!! Especially where I lucked out and had an easy experience… There was only one little road bump in the process. The rest was incredibly smooth sailing. I’m sure once we are all moved in it will start finally sinking in! ๐Ÿ™‚

OMG Congratulations, Erica!!! I have never bought a home, but I always hear about it being such a stressful process. I am glad to hear your experience was the opposite. I guess working with the right people makes all the difference! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you! <3 And same! We were totally geared up for a long and crazy process. I'm so grateful it wasn't! The key is definitely getting a great real estate agent and loan officer! Our two contacts were AMAZING.

Within the PMM publishing house, they also have the imprint, Ghoulish Books, which launched in January of 2022. Maxโ€™s latest book, Maggots Screaming!, launched today April 12th, 2022 from that imprint. In celebration, Iโ€™m so excited to be sharing this interview with Max!

Diaries of the Damned by Ivan Radev is a collectio Diaries of the Damned by Ivan Radev is a collection of tales that span numerous dark fears. But as always, even in the darkness, thereโ€™s a bit of light.

In the foreword, the author warns that this is a book of fears, and boy does he play on fears wonderfully! Each tale is presented to readers in the first person to really get readers in the characters shoes. Please use caution here when you dive in. The author does not shy away from the darkness.

Phew, this read will take readers on quite the journey! It was the perfect read for a dark and rainy spring weekend.
