Podcast Feature: Books In The Freezer

Um, how in the world have I not highlighted this podcast yet?!

Books In The Freezer is an amazing horror related podcast hosted by Stephanie Gagnon. It’s a podcast that I look forward to with each release and play it as soon as possible after getting the notification that it’s up!

Let’s dive in!

My Thoughts on the Books In The Freezer Podcast

The podcast gets its name from that wonderful scene from Friends where Rachel discovers that Joey has put a copy of The Shining in the freezer. How awesome is that?!

I’m obsessed with the theme song of this one. It’s seriously spooky!

The host, Stephanie, is incredible. I love listening to her take on the books that she has read and what her latest chilling obsession is. I’ve purchased SO many books thanks to her and Rachel’s (the previous co-host) recommendations!

When discussing the books, I loved that Stephanie and the guests will say that it is room temperature or that they would put it in the freezer! This is such a fun element that never fails to make me chuckle.

I also really enjoy that Stephanie asks for audience input from time to time as well!

My clip discussing my obsession with The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon was featured in her two part series about the top Stephen King Novels:

I also sent in a recording to discuss what I’ve been reading during the COVID-19 situation:

There was also an episode where I wrote in to describe my horrific date, and it was read on the show… It had a little something to do with a guy that started rubbing his face against mine like a cat ON THE FIRST DATE. Hearing the reactions from Stephanie and the guests on air was hysterical!!

Thanks for reading!
