Remember when I put out a call for great werewolf tales? Found one!

Beast by Nick Clausen is a thrilling and mysterious werewolf tale with a shocking ending that I cruised right through!

Full disclosure: I was given a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This did not affect my rating in any way.

Let’s dive in to my review!

My Thoughts on Beast by Nick Clausen

This quick novella really packs a punch!

I really enjoy tales that seem pretty straightforward, but prove your thoughts wrong at the very end.

In this tale, I loved the two main characters, Connor and Hunter. Their bond was so wonderful. Just imagining a teenager walking around town with a very well behaved and unleashed Czechoslovakian Wolfdog paints a great picture!

This tale was a wonderful mix of mystery and murder. While short, the pacing was perfect and the plot had me totally immersed.

Thanks to the wonderful writing, this is a tale that really plays out in your head!

My Final Thoughts on Beast

Beast is another novella by Nick Clausen that I would highly recommend to fans of YA Horror! And if you haven’t read them yet, check out my reviews for some of his other works, They Come At Night and Human Flesh.

Snag a copy of this novella by visiting Nick’s website, here!
