I’m SO excited about these releases for March! One I had the wonderful opportunity to read early and would highly recommend, and one I have pre-ordered.

Let’s dive in!
Laughing At Shadows edited by Brett Reistroffer
Expected publication date: March 2nd, 2020
Genre: Horror/Humor
Synopsis: Who says you can’t laugh at horror? We’ve all heard of being scared silly, so obviously there’s room between slashings, hauntings, and summonings for a good knee-slapper. And that is exactly were this book of dark-minded but lighthearted short fiction comes in.
If you’ve ever giggled at guts, chuckled at cannibals, or laughed at severed limbs, then this collection of humorously macabre stories might be right up your dark little alley. With twelve tales from some seriously sick and silly writers, it’s guaranteed to tickle your funny bone…if not rip it right out of you.
Authors featured in this anthology include: Skyler Goff, Andrew Johnston, Alyssa Eckles, Santiago Eximeno, Eric J. Guignard, Jeff Strand, George Nikolopoulos, C L Raven, Sean Logan, William West, Brandon Butler, and W. T. Paterson.

Don’t Overthink It: Make Easier Decisions, Stop Second-Guessing, and Bring More Joy to Your Life by Anne Bogel
Expected publication date: March 2nd, 2020
Genre: Personal Development
Synopsis: We’ve all been there: stuck in a cycle of what-ifs, plagued by indecision, paralyzed by the fear of getting it wrong. Nobody wants to live a life of constant overthinking, but it doesn’t feel like something we can choose to stop doing. It feels like something we’re wired to do, something we just can’t escape. But is it?
Anne Bogel’s answer is no. Not only can you overcome negative thought patterns that are repetitive, unhealthy, and unhelpful, you can replace them with positive thought patterns that will bring more peace, joy, and love into your life. In Don’t Overthink It, you’ll find actionable strategies that can make an immediate and lasting difference in how you deal with questions both small–Should I buy these flowers?–and large–What am I doing with my life? More than a book about making good decisions, Don’t Overthink It offers you a framework for making choices you’ll be comfortable with, using an appropriate amount of energy, freeing you to focus on all the other stuff that matters in life.

What releases are you looking forward to in March?
Priscilla Bettis says
both books sound good. I think horror with humor is hard. Humor is so personal. What tickles one person’s funny bone might make another person cringe. It’ll be interesting to see what you think of the book.

I’m wary of anything in my favourite subjects that claims to be funny as so often I end up disappointed! This is why I rarely watch comedy films unless I know it is pure slapstick!
