Top 10 Tuesday is created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
For this prompt, I have picked books that I wish I had read when I was a teenager. These are also all books that I think could spark great discussions.
Let’s dive in!

What book do you wish you could have read as a teen?
Lauren Stoolfire says
I've actually only read two of these, TFIOS and A Monster Calls – and yes, I wish could have read them then.

I read TFIOS and have a copy of The Monster Calls but haven't read it yet. I've heard such good things about Eliza and her Monsters that I'm really not surprised it made your list. Good job!
Erica Hatch says
π Oh my gosh, Eliza and her Monsters is so lovely!
Jade Barnett says
Thereβs a few on this list I really want to read! Great picks!

Great list! I wish all of these books had been around when I was a teen.
Erica Robyn says
For sure!! They are all so wonderful!
Michael Hickerson says
I've only read a couple of selections on this list. But growing up and moving around (son of an Air Force officer), I missed reading some of the classics as part of the English curriculum. I find myself wishing I could have read To Kill A Mockingbird with my peers and participating in the discussion of it. Or maybe not. Because I might not have liked it as much as I did reading it on my own.
Erica Robyn says
Oh that's a great point! There are many books I read in school that I didn't like, but LOVED when I read them later on in life.
Lena @ The Printed Girl says
Great YA picks! I wish they were around too when I was a teenager!
Erica Robyn says
Thank you! π

All Of The Cages has such a beautiful cover, but I've never read it… oO And then there's The Fault In Our Stars… I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who wasn't all that sure about the book. I loved reading it, but somehow the hype passed me by. Still love your list tough π My friend lent me A Monster Calls a few years back and I found it such an interesting read. Especially as it is completely different to what I would usually pick up.
Erica Robyn says
Oh you gotta check out A List of Cages. It's incredible!! π
Sarah Quick says
Interest list. I haven't read any of these and have only heard of a couple of them. I might just have to check some of them out.
Erica Robyn says
Definitely! π
Tangled N Books says
Such a fab list~! Love love love Eliza and Her Monsters!
Erica Robyn says
Thank you! π
Rissi says
I enjoyed 'Stars' SO much more than I anticipated. Sure it's sad, but there's also a great deal of "joy" in the story because of Hazel and Gus' relationship. Though I've not read them, I've heard great things about Jennifer's and Tamara's books. π
