[Book Photo Sunday] #shelfiesunday

Book Photo Sundays is hosted by Ronyell of Rabbit Ears Book Blog. The purpose is simply to give readers the chance to showcase photos of your books, bookshelves, and other bookish things and share with a like-minded crowd. The hashtag for the overall event is #bookphotosundays.

On this week's edition of Book Photo Sundays, I'm showing off some books that I have stacked up on my desk for just one part of my many TBR stacks...

Let's dive in!

#shelfiesunday

Phew!

Having this stack sitting right in front of me on my desk has helped me stick to my plan not to accept any new books for honest reviews for a while, unless, of course, I am contacted by an author or publisher that I have worked with in the past. I love taking on honest reviews, but they really impact my other reading options.

I'm really hoping to cruise right through these stacks in 2019! Especially the two on the top left; those I have borrowed from my brother in law. He absolutely RAVED about them, so I'm so antsy to dive in, but they are quite long and a bit daunting.

The Art and Other Items:
In the background there are two wonderful artsy gifts that I have received.

The one on the right is an amazing paper cutout that my friend Amber did for me for my bridal shower. It is stunning and incredibly detailed!

And the one on the left was a gift from Tony Moyle and it is an illustration of Mr Brimstone, a character from the 'How to Survive the Afterlife' Series. You can also glimpse my Limpet Syndrome coaster on the floating shelf above!

On top of the stack on the right, I have one of the Erica Robyn Reads flash drives that I hosted a giveaway for a while back and a wonderful card from a friend that help runs K9s on the Front Line.

To the right of that stack I have my 2019 day planner. I can't believe how many things I've already put on the calendar for next year! Phew!

Lastly, I have a little Poinsettia. I always buy these around the holidays, but I unfortunately cannot seem to keep them alive... If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for checking out this post!
Have you read any of the books in these stacks? If so, which ones would you recommend I read as soon as possible?

  1. Whoa, you already have your 2019 pile ready?? I need to be like you Erica!

Unfortunately I have no experience with poinsettas. I've always had cats my whole life and those are super toxic.

    Have a good week!

This is Amber @ Du Livre btw!

  4. Oh I spy The Outsider in the stack. I still need to read that, and I'm hoping to fit it in before the end of the year. I've heard such great things.

  7. I think sometimes having your TBR stack in pure sight and view is good for that reason. It helps you keep a bit more control of all the unread ones you have and makes it that much easier to say no. I hope you enjoy all of these!

  9. There are some good books there. I hope to start The Passage in January. I have The Unwanted Guest out from the library now and want to read it over Christmas break. Looks good. What a cute pup card.

  10. I need to get to The Girl in the Tower myself. And winter just feels perfect for that kind of fantasy read. Hope you end up enjoying it when you get a chance to read it.
