Oh no, a shame about A Flame in the Mist. I've heard a lot of good things about it. Looks like you've had a good month, though!

Yeah, the characters were lovely and the story was fun! It was just the writing style I couldn't deal with.

Me too! ๐Ÿ™‚ I'm off to a bit of a slow start, but with my staycation coming up, I'm sure that will change ๐Ÿ™‚

Ugh, I was so bummed to DNF that book! It was the writing style… I just couldn't look past that. My reading buddy, Heather, LOVED it though! So hopefully you will too!

Yeah, the DNF's were so rough. I'm so happy that I have no problem just stopping a book at any time now though! ๐Ÿ™‚

WOW! You read a lot, Erica. I had a pitiful month in comparison, but at least there were great reads among them. No matter the number, that's always what we bookworms want to walk away with. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, June was incredible! My July has been rough though, reading-wise. And I agree! Any reading that can be accomplished is worth celebrating!
