My Thoughts on the Overdue Podcast
Overdue is hosted by two very upbeat and funny gentlemen, Andrew Cunningham and Craig Getting.
The whole premise of this podcast makes me chuckle:
“While Andrew and Craig believe the joy of discovery is crucial to enjoying any well told tale, they will not shy away from spoiling specific story beats when necessary. Plus, these are books you should have read by now.“
I love listening to these two because I feel like I could be best friends with them! Their content is awesome and they cover such a wide variety of books.
When I first came across the podcast, I immediately downloaded all of the episodes that cover books I had already read so I could binge listen to a bunch in a row.
Once I got caught up, I realized that sometimes I would risk the spoilers to listen along, and ended up adding a number of books to my TBR! And of course, there are also times when I add the book to my TBR list, download the episode, and then wait until I read the book so I can check out the podcast after reading!
This is a podcast that I would highly recommend checking out! Who knows what book will find it’s way to your to-be-read stack next!
I had forgotten about this podcast but I used to enjoy it so much! That opening makes me laugh. Podcasts have kind of gotten overshadowed by audio books but there are some thatI really miss and this is one of them.
