A tablet lies on dry grass and surrounded by dandelions in a natural outdoor setting. The screen displays the cover of the book Everybody Is in the Place by Emma J. Gibbon. The cover features a colorful, fantastical illustration of a female figure with glowing eyes and curved horns, holding something mysterious in her hands. Stars and swirling cosmic elements fill the background, giving the cover a magical and otherworldly feel. The title text is in bold, colorful letters across the top and middle, with the author's name at the bottom.

May 2024 | Recap

June 3, 2024      Erica Robyn      Leave a Comment

This month was yet another total blur!

Our poor little guy had his first double ear infection thanks to this lingering cold we’ve had since the first week of daycare. Then his eardrum likely (they couldn’t tell for sure) ruptured to let the infection out… So needless to say, sleep has been very rough. But even so, our little dude has been such a smiley, fun boy during the day. I can’t believe how much he’s learned in the last month alone! He was also a trooper for our longest car ride yet as we traveled to Maine to celebrate his cousin’s birthday.

On the reading front, I was able to read three books and review four books while my personal library grew by three books! One book that I got to post a review for is a book that I have been eagerly awaiting to be published – Find Him and Kill Him by Cody J. Thompson! This book is WILD. I had the honor of reading this early. If you haven’t yet picked this one up, I highly recommend doing so!

Let’s dive into the rest of my recap!

My May 2024 Recap –

  • Cranberry Cove by Hailey Piper
  • Find Him and Kill Him by Cody J. Thompson
