[Book Blogger Hop] Books I Received For Christmas

December 28, 2018      Erica Robyn      27 Comments

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a question and join a “hop”. The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another.

For this week’s Book Blogger Hop question, Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer asked:

Did you get any books for Christmas? If so, name the titles.

My answer:
Yes! I was gifted a copy of The Song Of Achillies by Madeline Miller from my friend Heather of Heather’s Reading Hideaway. My husband also totally spoiled me and bought me The Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab and The Official Behind the Scenes Companion of Stranger Things- Worlds Turned Upside Down.

I cannot wait to dive into each of these books!

Thanks for reading!
Did you receive any books for the holidays?

I just recently finished Circe and am now completely in love with Madeline Miller. Song of Achillies is on the top of my TBR!

I'm a Hindu so we don't really celebrate Christmas or exchange gifts. My parents would get me gifts when I was younger but we haven't done that in many years. My friends and I are doing a Secret Santa in college. So hopefully I get a book once college reopens! *fingers crossed*

Ooh, you got some good ones! I actually didn't get any this year, but there wasn't really anything I wanted at the moment.

You are SO FREAKING LUCKY, ERICA!!!! LOL.

Nobody around me gives me books anymore….BOO-HOO! They all think I have WAY too many already! (I'm referring to my husband and family.) So, they will give me "practical and necessary" stuff like clothes! So then I have to be my own Santa! I treat myself to books all year 'round, though! LOL.

Thanks for sharing!! Now I need to go wash my face, because it's turning a rather noticeable shade of green…..LOL.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! <3 🙂

hahahaha oh my gosh, I definitely have too many books. They're totally taking over! My goal of 2019 is to go though and finally read the ones I haven't yet to decide if they stay or go! 🙂

I want to read The Song Of Achilles so badly! I read Circe this year and fell in love with Madeline Miller's writing.

If my husband was more of a reader he'd probably enjoy the Stranger Things book as he likes that show. I bought myself 19 books which I shared about here: http://smsnonfictionbookreviews.com/2018/12/bbh-books-i-got-for-christmas/
