For this week’s question, Kristin @ Lukten av Trykksverte asks:
If you had an author-only Thanksgiving party, who would you invite?
My answer:
Ooooh!! Let’s see. While I am not a fan of Thanksgiving at all, I would LOVE to share a meal with the following authors just to see how they all interact and to pick their brains a bit! π
- Neil Gaiman
- Daniel Handler
- Joe Hill
- Stephen King
- Josh Malarian
- Paige Pendleton
- Robin Roe
- J.K. Rowling
- V.E. Schwab
Thanks for reading!
Which author, or authors, would you love to share a meal with?

JK Rowling would be awesome, she seems to have a good sense of humor! One of mine would be Emily Giffin; I follow her on Facebook and she's always posting about her writing or sharing photos of her kids.
Oh how fun!!
V.E. Schwab and J.K. Rowling were on my list as well! π awesome list E

Oooh! I should added Joe Hill and J.K. Rowling to my list too!

Great list! There are so many authors I want to meet!
π
I love your choices – I think I would also add Maggie Stiefvater. π
Ah! I STILL haven't read anything by her. I'm hoping to change that next month!
Wonderful list. I'd probably invite half of them over for dinner myself.
Have a great weekend. – Katie
π I hope you're having a great weekend as well!
Now THAT would be an awesome Thanksgiving author dinner! π

What a fun dinner party! Neil Gaiman especially would be fun to talk with. I'd want to hear about his experiences writing for Doctor Who as well as his books.
Oh! That would be so awesome!!
Hmmm…definitely Stephen King and Joe Hill. I'd also want Hunter Shea and Anne Rice. To mix things up a tad, perhaps the ghost of Edgar Allan Poe. It would be a very dark and eerie Thanksgiving!
Ooooh! That would be SO fun!!!
Wonderful list! JK Rowling would be a great invite!
