Visiting The BookMonger in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire

The Bookmonger in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire

Every year, I travel with my fiancé and a group of friends to Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, where we spend the weekend.

One year, there was a new shop; The BookMonger! One of our friends shouted, "E! A bookstore!" And of course I walked right in! This year, I finally remembered to take photos to share here.

Let's dive in!

Visiting The BookMonger in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire

The shop is located right in the main square. It's rather small, but it's got a great selection for it's size!

I especially loved this fun Outdoors shelf, considering the town where this shop was located:

And of course, I just couldn't walk out of there without snagging a book... (Thanks, Alex!)

Thanks for reading!
Finding new bookshops is always so much fun! What was the last bookshop you stumbled across? I'd love to hear about it in the comments below!

  1. Looks like a nice place. I hope you like the new Hocus Pocus book!

Recently I took a book worm friend to a local book store that's one of my favorites once I found out she had never been there! :)

  3. What a cute store! I wish I traveled with people who liked bookstores. It’s hard to enjoy a store when your family is standing by the door and looking impatient.

  4. I love book stores and try to visit as many as I can while traveling. These little ones in small towns are the best, though. There’s something so perfect about them.

  9. What a great name for a bookshop! It looks like a place that I'd enjoy browsing. My town has one second hand bookshop and a lot of charity shops so it's often only Amazon that gives me the genres I love!

  13. Looks like a great little book shop. I do enjoy finding new bookshops, last week in Denver I stopped in at The Tattered Cover Book Store, I could have spent more time there... but I had my husband patiently waiting.

I hope you enjoy Hocus Pocus. I've been hearing wonderful things about it.
