[Book Blogger Hop] Where I Post My Reviews

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a question and join a "hop". The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another.

For this week's question, Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews asked:

Where do you post your reviews besides your blog? Please list them all so perhaps we can find some new sites.

My answer:
I post my reviews on a few different platforms:
I will also post about books or share my review links and/or book photos on the following platforms:

Thanks for reading!
Where do you post your reviews? Is there a platform you use that you would recommend I check out?

  1. Erica I've never heard of Book Thinkers, how is that and Litsy? Is it very much like Goodreads?

    1. BookThinkers is a lot like Goodreads, but more... simple, if you will. I actually like it a lot better! The way that reviews are set up is interesting because you're forced to keep the review short. The one thing I don't like is the way the shelves are currently set up; I wish we were able to create different shelves like on Goodreads, but maybe they will implement that someday!

I LOVE Litsy!! It's my far my favorite bookish platform! It's like Goodreads and Instagram had a baby! :)

  2. I only post mine on Goodreads and Facebook. I should probably branch out a bit more!

  3. Book Thinkers is a new site to me. I post on Goodreads, Amazon, Librarything,Litsy (when I remember), Barnes & Noble, Dymocks and Twitter. I'm contemplating Instagram but haven't taken the plunge yet.

    1. :-D I love Instagram, but I don't have a bookish-only account... It's just my personal account :)

  5. The downside of Bookthinkers is that they only have the mainstream books. No indie books listed. Or at least not the LGBTQ books I tried.

  8. I'm on my blog, IG, Twitter, Goodreads and, if I get the book from another location (like NetGalley), I of course post there. :-)

  11. I'd never come across Book Thinkers or Litsy. The latter looks fun, but I guess I have enough trouble keeping up with my current social media profiles. LOL.

  13. Mostly it's my blog and Goodreads. Eventually I'll get my reviews moved over to Amazon but that will take quite a while. The problem with Amazon is that their star reviews have a different meaning from Goodreads stars so I end up having to add a description of what my stars actually mean!

    1. Yeah, that's a struggle! I've also heard of Amazon deleting some reviews if you didn't buy the item through their platform...

  14. I only post reviews on my blog and Goodreads. I would love to review on Amazon but I don't buy books from there as I'm an INT reader. :( I don't know about Litsy and BookThinkers! I'll check it out. :)

  15. Book Thinkers is a new one to me... I'll have to check it out. I always post on GoodReads. Always. And I usually post on Amazon as well. Amazon has become some tricky about reviews, though. I hear about people haven't their reviews removed and even getting blocked. It's crazy.

  17. I'm actually really bed at cross posting. I mean, I share some of my book reviews on Twitter, FB, or Pinterest, but actually copying and pasting my review? Yeah, not really. I need to do it more often though. I know it can help!

  19. I only post on Goodreads (automatically through UBB) but occasionally post through Amazon. I do share through social media though... But I'm really bad at cross posting otherwise. 😂
