[Top 10 Tuesday] Favorite Book Covers On My Shelves

I’ll admit it; I’m a total sucker for a great book cover! While there are numerous book covers out there that I absolutely love, I decided to focus only on the books that I own for this post.

Enjoy!

Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite Book Covers On My Shelves

Top 10 Tuesday is created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

10. Cinder by Marissa Meyer

When I saw this cover, I was immediately intrigued and couldn’t wait to start reading! I really love the simplicity of the design. I love the font of the book title and that it is silver which matches the cyborg parts inside her leg. I also really love the colors used in the shoe and the purple background. The red is really eye catching, especially against the purple! I also really like how well this book cover captures the story inside.

I love the covers of this series so much! Again, I think they are simple and lovely. I think it’s really great that each volume features a different color and that only the title and one character is featured in that color. Then of course the fact that there is only one character surrounded by zombies in various stages of decomposition is a fun touch!

8.
*Gasps* I know, I know; it’s a movie cover! I usually don’t love these editions because I feel that they are thrown together quickly and end up looking really horrible. But in this case, I actually like this version more than the normal one. The colors are lovely, the design has a soft tone to it, and the two characters featured are interesting. And I mean, come on… It’s Daniel Radcliffe. 😉

7.
I’ll admit. If I hadn’t read this book, I don’t think I would find this cover very intriguing. But because I have read the book, I really love the cover! My favorite feature is how the “A Novel” is mixed in with the nanobots.

6.
How spooky is this cover?! It’s very fitting for the story inside.

5.
This cover is just so much fun! I love that the stars take up most of the cover. I also really liked that some of the stars are more textured than the others. My favorite part of this cover is the font that was chosen for the title and authors name.
4.
I love the texture of this cover! All of the illustration is gold embossed and looks so lovely in real life.
3.
I love everything about this book cover! The color scheme, the fonts used, and the general layout. The testimonial is also so perfect. When I first read it, I couldn’t wait to read the actual book. After completing it, I thought it was even more perfect.
2.
There are numerous editions of this cover, but this one is by far my favorite! I love the placement of each of the textual elements. The simple warm color scheme gives it a great tone. And of course I think the illustration of the burning man made from pages of books is absolutely amazing!

1.
I just couldn’t resist. This book cover brings back so many happy memories every time I see it. The fonts are so recognizable! The color palette is also lovely. But the artwork is my favorite; from the details on the pillars to Fluffy under the castle, I think it’s all incredible! And of course the gold embossed names are a fun touch.

Thanks for reading!

Lovely choices! I love Cider, so pretty and even better in person. A List of Cages is gorgeous too, I love the simplicity of it.
