Murder Road by Simone St. James is a tense, suspenseful tale of a couple who find themselves in the middle of a very troubling situation.

Let’s dive in!

My Thoughts on Murder Road by Simone St. James –

While driving to their honeymoon destination, these two are in absolute marital bliss until they are slammed back into reality when they see a girl stumbling on the side of the road. They know she needs help, and they jump to assist. Unfortunately for them, she dies at the hospital, and since they are the outsiders in this small town, they are considered to be the killers…

These two find themselves stuck in this town for more than one reason, determined to help the lost girl.

My gosh, the pacing of this is intense! I loved that we started with a bang, moved into frustration, and then stepped back into the mystery side of things. Each of these flowed so seamlessly into the next.

My Favorite Passages from Murder Road –

If you see her, you’ll be the next one found at the side of the road. A ghost or an urban legend created to cover up for a murderer. If you were the one left by the side of the road, did it matter which one it was?

A hot breeze blew through the broken bedroom window like a breath, lifting the fuzzy curtains.

My Final Thoughts on Murder Road –

I went into this one totally blind and I had SO MUCH FUN! Dark murder mystery fans or fans of the paranormal will love this!
