Big Mushy Happy Lump by Sarah Andersen book review by Erica Robyn Reads

Big Mushy Happy Lump by Sarah Andersen is a wonderful collection of adorable and incredibly relatable comics.

I flew right through this book and felt incredibly sad when I reached the end. I hope to see more from Sarah soon!

(Shout out to Heather of Heather’s Reading Hideaway and her fiancé for putting this on my radar!)

My Thoughts on Big Mushy Happy Lump by Sarah Andersen

I really enjoyed this collection! So many panels made me laugh, others hit me on a deeper level because they were so relatable. One of my favorite sections was where the author writes a narrative about her anxiety and how she deals with it.

Here are some of my favorite panels to give you a taste for the comics if you haven’t yet seen her work:

Sarah Andersen spending habits panel
Sarah Andersen body positivity panel
Sarah Andersen stress panel
Sarah Andersen relationship snacking panel
Sarah Andersen I Don't Care man panel

My Final Thoughts on Big Mushy Happy Lump

This was such a fun read and I would highly recommend it to anyone, but particularly those that struggle with anxiety and need a laugh.

From what I've seen of her writing/ art it looks amazingly funny and yet relatable at the same time. Love the look of this! Those examples are great too- I've seen that first one before and it always cracks me up.
