[Brief Review] Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

As I was asked to hold my full review until closer to publication by the Dutton Publicity Team, I will keep this very brief for now.

But stay tuned for my full review!

Riley Sager is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. His work is so wonderfully written. Once I pick up one of his books, I struggle to put it down!

I should know better by now… I should know that I need to pick up his books on a weekend so I can do nothing but read.

Let’s dive into my quick thoughts about this new book!

My Initial Thoughts About Lock Every Door

Lock Every Door was so interesting and quite dark!

I loved that the tale focused on the characters and their relationships, while there was a mysterious, to good to be true, vibe lingering beneath the surface.

Only when Jules breaks one of the rules of the job, does the mystery begin to really develop. It’s clear that something is very, very wrong. But what, exactly, is going on?

A must-read for darker mystery fans!

If you’re a Sager fan, I definitely recommend pre-ordering this one!

I might need to give this author another try. I read Final Girls as an arc and it just didn’t work for me for some reason. Glad you enjoyed this one!

It sounds like this book was dark and haunting. And with the reader getting the feeling that things are too good to be true it makes it all the more suspectful because we are suspicious of everything. Great mini review!

Books like this make me feel anxious, haha. I already have issues with insomnia, I don’t need to revisit my fears of the dark. πŸ˜‰ Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t know that he has another book out. I read The Last Time I Lied and loved it so I will probably read Lock Every Door.

For sure! I definitely pushed his work on a few of my blogging friends and they really did not enjoy the books. I’d love to see what you think if you pick one up! πŸ™‚
