A tablet lies on dry grass and surrounded by dandelions in a natural outdoor setting. The screen displays the cover of the book Everybody Is in the Place by Emma J. Gibbon. The cover features a colorful, fantastical illustration of a female figure with glowing eyes and curved horns, holding something mysterious in her hands. Stars and swirling cosmic elements fill the background, giving the cover a magical and otherworldly feel. The title text is in bold, colorful letters across the top and middle, with the author's name at the bottom.

[Book Blogger Hop] Secret Santa At Work

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a question and join a “hop”. The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another.

For this week’s question, Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books asks:

Have you ever asked co-workers to give you a book or B&N gift card if they got your name for a Secret Santa gift exchange? If so, did you get what you asked for?

My answer:
We’ve only exchanged holiday gifts at my company a few times.

For two years running, we each purchased gifts for one another. But that was just too expensive to keep up. The following year we did a book swap where everyone brought in their favorite book. That was really fun! I would love to do that again.

Thanks for reading!
Does your company do any holiday gift giving?

Book swaps are always fun!! We do that at my book club's Christmas party.

Too many people at work to do a company exchange, but some teachers who were good friends exchanged with each other.

    Merry Christmas!!

At my last job, we had to put ideas on a cutout and hang it on a decorated board so yea, I've asked for books and book gift cards. The people who know me well know they can always get me a book πŸ™‚

That's a good idea! This year at my library we did a white elephant gift exchange of anything under $10. I made out with a big bag of candy!

I love the book swap idea, instead of a Secret Santa! That is a brilliant idea.

I love the sound of a book swap. I think that would be a good idea amongst us book bloggers in fact. Enjoy the holidays!
