[Book Blogger Hop] Wishlist For Santa

December 15, 2017      Erica Robyn      22 Comments

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a question and join a “hop”. The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another.

For this week’s question, Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books asks:

Which book(s) would you like Santa to bring you this year?

My answer:
Back in November, I asked my fiancรฉ to buy me copies of the Locke & Key series. When the went on sale, we went ahead and ordered them! His only rule was that I am not allowed to look through them until Christmas. THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING ME! I cannot wait to re-read this series!

Those are the only books that I asked for this year. However, if some of my bookish friends were hoping to get gift ideas for me here. Feel free to check out the other books that I have on my Amazon wish list ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 5 (VIZBIG Edition): Dr. Gero’s Laboratory of Terror! by Akira Toriyama
  • Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 6 (VIZBIG Edition) by Akira Toriyama
  • Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 7 (VIZBIG Edition) by Akira Toriyama

Yay for the illustrated Harry Potter books! I got the first one for my sister's family this year! Apparently I'm getting all the books on my Amazon wishlist, because when I checked it the other day, it was empty!

I'm doing a whole post on this on Top Ten Tuesday next week. I usually give my husband a list and then he picks off it. He hates shopping and I think the bookstore drives him nuts. He's told me in the past he has walked in and found a sales associate, handed them the list and said "What do ya got?" The Locke & Key books will be great to have. I still need to read the 6th one.

Within the PMM publishing house, they also have the imprint, Ghoulish Books, which launched in January of 2022. Maxโ€™s latest book, Maggots Screaming!, launched today April 12th, 2022 from that imprint. In celebration, Iโ€™m so excited to be sharing this interview with Max!

Diaries of the Damned by Ivan Radev is a collectio Diaries of the Damned by Ivan Radev is a collection of tales that span numerous dark fears. But as always, even in the darkness, thereโ€™s a bit of light.

In the foreword, the author warns that this is a book of fears, and boy does he play on fears wonderfully! Each tale is presented to readers in the first person to really get readers in the characters shoes. Please use caution here when you dive in. The author does not shy away from the darkness.

Phew, this read will take readers on quite the journey! It was the perfect read for a dark and rainy spring weekend.
