[Book Cover Reveal] The Eldritch Heart by Matthew S. Cox

Book Cover Reveal for The Eldritch Heart by Matthew S. Cox

I'm so very excited to be sharing a cover reveal today! It's for The Eldritch Heart by Matthew S. Cox. If you've been following me for the past few weeks, that may sound familiar. That's because I recently reviewed the novel!

In my review, I wrote:

The Eldritch Heart by Matthew S. Cox is a cute love story that is packed with action from cover to cover! If you're looking for a great YA Fantasy where the princess acts as the stone that bends the river, and fights against outdated beliefs, then this is the right book for you!

But now, let's talk about the book covers.

The Original Cover:

I thought that this cover was lovely!

The overall layout is very eye catching. I loved the detail on the corners that help draw the eye. The textured and glowing heart in the center caught my attention when I first saw this cover, and I love the background details. I also really enjoyed the color palette, though a bit dark. But the font used really stole the show for me.

The entire cover flows so well! My photo really doesn't do this cover justice; it is really stunning!

The New Cover:

When Matthew mentioned that he was reworking the cover, I honestly I didn't think the cover could get much better...

I was wrong.

I love the illustrations of the two girls, especially because they are exactly what I imagined they would look like when reading the novel. I love the castles in the background as well as the setting details that vary from the left and right hand sides. The bright blue and neon green is a great touch that really captures the eye's attention. And the FONT. Just perfect.

Congratulations on the wonderful new cover, Matthew!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Love both these covers! The touches of green and the font in the second one really work for me.

    1. Right?! I'm a sucker for bright colors on covers!

  2. I hate when a book cover changes for worse, but both covers these are gorgeous. The second cover is as beautiful as the first one. *.*

    Happy readings! ;)

  3. Ooh I do really love both covers. The new one definitely "shines" (pun intended). :)

  4. Both covers are great - that's always awesome when the art for the characters match up with what you see in your mind. :)
